Even though I don't usually make really fussy cards with lots of layers and embellishes, I have a difficult time keeping them simple, as in one layer.
Using a Spellbinders die to emboss around the image helps me accept the card as not so naked.
Image and sentiment are from GKD stamp sets. I love this stamp; I use it often. There are so many varieties of Rudebeckias and I really like their sunny, bright colors this time of year - one of the last flowers blooming in my flower beds.

So pretty!! The embossing around the image is wonderful!!
ReplyDeleteI agree that sometimes it is hard to stay clean and simple (CAS) but when it works....as in your card....you have to pat yourself on the back and say WOW. Clever idea to just emboss and not cut with the die.
ReplyDeleteYou have created a lovely CAS card. I love those sunflowers and the embossing. Thanks so much for playing along at CCM xx
