A few years back, my mom and I started sorting through some of her craft supplies, getting rid of a lot of it because she is 91 and does not do crafts any more. She used to make porcelain dolls and make their clothes too, so she has more lace than a fabric store! I don't do much sewing any more so I only took some of the lace that I thought I could use on cards. I used a piece on this Mother's Day card.
The digital Magnolia blossom and sentiment are by
Doodle Pantry. This is actually a pre-colored image. I added just a little more pink in the center of the flower.
I love pinks and greens together - so feminine, so "mother".
