My grandkids are growing up too fast! which means my own kids are the age I should be!
Here is the card I made for my grandson who just turned 16.
I combined several ideas that I saw on Pinterest and Jerrie Mead's card.
We live 100 miles north of Seattle so I was excited I had this piece of map in my stash. The car is a stamp by Unity which I colored with Copics. The Route sign is a digital stamp that I was able to insert the "16" digital numbers by Doodle Pantry.
The circle is cut with a die in the MFT Die-namic Circle Stax. Route sign and front of the car are popped up with dimensional foam tape.

Oh Marsha - this is so cool!! What an awesome card for a 16 year old -- I've seen this idea on Pinterest, but I think I like your take even better than the ones on there!
ReplyDeleteSo happy you linked this up to the Cropstop blog this month - thanks for playing along!
Marsha, what an awesome CASE! That magical 16 year mark in a boys life! I have had 3 boys turn 16...no grandchildren learning to drive yet...my oldest grandchild is 7. I love how you did the route 16 sign. The papers you have used make that hot red car pop! I bet your grandson will love his card and treasure it!
ReplyDeleteVery cool! He's gonna love it. Thanks for joining us at STAMPlorations this month.
ReplyDeleteLove the 3d effect of the car coming out of the card. Thanks for helping STAMPlorations celebrate 5 years.
