Tomorrow is Good Friday. Have you ever wondered why it is "good" when it marks the day we acknowledge the death of someone.
It is because that 'Someone" is Jesus Christ. He willingly took on the penalty of our sins, dying by crucifixion, so that we would have a way, the only way, to be made righteous to God. He took on the form of flesh, lived as a perfect man, and died for us.
"The wages of sin (and we are all sinners) is death. But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23. That is "good" news.
Sunday we will celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. He has power over sin and over death.
Because He rose from the dead, we know that He has power to give us eternal life.
"For God loved the world (you and me) so much that He gave His one and only Son, Jesus, so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but will have eternal life." John 3:16

And now onto the card I am featuring today:
Doodle Pantry . It is "Holy Land Flowers" and comes with several types of flowers and the camel's thorns, as well as sentiments. I was able to overlay the verse using the png. files. The BG paper is also Doodle Pantry digital paper called Spring Day Papers.
Here is the inside of the card:
I hope you have a wonderful weekend celebrating the Resurrection.
