Shades of Gray

Several of the the cards I have made lately were inspired by Shery Russ.  Here is another one of hers that I CASED.
 My card:

I made my card by printing one of Stamploration digital images then made a mask covering up the parts I wanted left white.  This I put back into my copier and printed.  I actually ended up printing a third time because I fussy cut a flower and put it in the upper right corner then printed again.
Last two steps was to use a C-2 Copic  to go around the flowers and then stamp the SU sentiment in Gray Flannel.
I kept everything on the muted side because this card will be a Sympathy card.
You would think after all that work I would have kept a copy.  Nope.  Another senior moment.   Someday I will do it again but use bright colors to see how that looks.

Challenges:
Stamploration Birthday CASE

Cardz TV - anything
Simon Wednesday - anything
Word Art Wednesday - anything

  2. This is gorgeous! I never think to use my printer when making cards. One of these days I’ll explore that. The shading really makes those flowers pop. Thanks so much for joining us for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge.
