More Daffodils

The image of daffodils is by Designed2Delight.    The challenge at Card Ideas is to CASE a card from the design team gallery.  I chose this card by Faith to CASE:

Isn't it beautiful?  I changed the paper, image and used different embossing. The center of the daffodils are printed off a second time, colored, cut out and then popped onto the tops of the flowers.

Clearly Pressed

Not clearly impressed, however.  As I mentioned in a previous post, I am having fun with the new technique of embossing cut outs onto the CS as it is run through the Cuttlebug folder.  I combined this technique with the sketch at Clearly i Stamp and found out I like the technique better as a CAS card.  But this is what I came up with  - so be it.   I used the stamps, Blooming Bouquet,  by Clear Dollar stamps.  There are die cut stencils for it too which would give so much more dimension, but I don't have them yet. Enough talk.  Here is my card:

Apply this Applique

This is the monthly digi by D2D and I love it.  It is going to be so fun to use.  Can think of all kinds of DP's to print on.  I printed this four times in order to get all the papers I wanted for piecing.  The flowers on the tree are from a Cuttlebug die .Can you tell I am anxious for Spring?

I had just finished this Valentine's card for one of my grandsons (3 1/2) when my daughter told me that his sister (15 mo) just said her first sentence, "I am a robot."  She was mimicking her brother.  Maybe I should give the card to her !

A Patriotic Heart

I'm sure that this little girl is covering her heart in order to say The Pledge of Allegiance but I am taking the liberty to use it in a little different way.  Just picked up these heart buttons last week and love them.  DP are left over pieces.  Digi is by Stamping Boutique.  This card will go to OWH http://www.operationwritehome.org/
I don't know that you can see it in the photo but I used a silver gel pen to highlight the stars and the buttons on her shoes.  (Remember - no glitter for OWH cards.)

Animals - All Sorts

Don't you love all the digis now?  So many cute animals to choose from.  This darling giraffe is by Digital Delights.  The giraffe is a favorite animal of one of my grandsons so this Valentine will be for him. The sentiment is by Verve. I added some faux stitching on side of panel to match the piece of DP  (love) that I used.
