Last one til the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop? Well, maybe, but I have a lot of images printed and stamped. But this is the last for this hop.
I've been doing a lot of coloring lately with Copics and originally I was going to color this image but decided to do some paper piecing instead.
The image is printed on the background paper and then I pieced the cups, leaves, and the pumpkin. Fun for a change.

Autumn Birthday Card
October is a busy month for family birthdays - 6 that I will be making cards for. Here is one for my son-in-law.
Sponged color on the edges of the designer paper and the pumpkin which is cut with a Spellbinder Pumpkin die. The cup is Verve, printed and then fussy cut.
Trying to give the card some life, I added three colors of leaves (Impression Obsession) and two for the sentiment (Spellbinder).
On the inside I used the Verve sentiment and added "for your birthday" with the computer.
Challenges:
Scrapyland - birthdays
MFT color - white, orange, purple, green
Word Art Wednesday - anything

Espressoly For You
No, I did not ignore Spell-Check. That is the sentiment (by Doodle Pantry).
Another card for the Coffee Lovers Challenge and another one with Autumn colors.
The sketch is MFT
For the center strip I stamped the word coffee (Gina K) and then sponged a few colors.
Cup is obviously paper pieced.
Circles were cut with MFT circles and the Spellbinder scallop circle.

Cup of Kindness
It feels so good to be making cards and blogging again. I actually took time to do the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop too.
Here is a card I made for the challenge using another image and sentiment by Verve.

Loving a Latte
Yumm! Pumpkin Spice Lattes for Autumn! It's time to make my pumpkin syrup and start livin' a little!
These cute latte cups are by Verve (as is the sentiment) which I picked up in last year's Coffee Lovers Blog hop. I made this card not knowing that the blog hop was starting. I originally was going to enter it in the Stamploration CASE challenge but now will enter it in several challenges.
Card base - Light Brown Kraft by Kraft Outlet. Cup panel backed with SU Pumpkin Pie.

Just a Little Reminder
Autumn colors are my favorite so I tend to make cards with earth colors all year long but especially in September, October, and November.
I am leading a Bible Study for 9 weeks. We always have some goodies and coffee. There is a sign up sheet for bringing those snacks. In stead of making a phone call each week to the person who signed up for that week, I decided to make up reminder cards and send those out instead.
All the images are stamped with Close To The Heart stamps.
The circle is made with two stamps - the outer rind with the months, and the center with the numbers. I made up one for the 22nd and another one for the 29th of September. For the reminders in October and November, I twisted the outer ring so the OCT is on top:
(One more thing I miss now that I moved into a different craft room is a place to photograph my cards. But I am taking a photography class so maybe I will learn how to take pics in a less desirable spot)
Back to the cards - all the images are colored with Copics. The front panel is Vanilla CS. Card base is Pumpkin Pie (SU) The date circle and the backing circle are cut with MFT Die-namics
Thanks for looking. Love it when you comment.

Back Into Routine, I Hope
April 17. That was my last post. That is FIVE months! How can that be possible? As I said in my April 13 post, it was time for changes; changes to and in my house. We gutted out and painted 6 rooms in our house, moved my craft room into a (previously) toy room, moved the toy room into a bedroom, made two bedrooms into an apartment of sorts for my mom. That was hard work. Harder still was the transition of having my mom live with us. But I will spare you those details.
I miss my old craft room. I have missed making cards and posting on the blog. I have missed reading your blogs and commenting. But hopefully, I will now be able to be creative again and get back into the world of crafts.
In these five months of my absence, I have made only nine cards (for family birthdays and anniversaries). In past years, I averaged 40 a month. So getting back into the swing of things has actually been like being a beginner again. Mojo is still keeping a distance. I can't find it just like I can't find other craft items hiding in new places in this "foreign" room.
This first card I made for my DIL's birthday then went on to make more cards - single layer ones. I am hoping to make sets of cards to give away as gifts. Plastic gift boxes are on order. I will post a pic sometime before Christmas on the finished products. But for now:
The flowers are Doodle Pantry digital images. I wanted to do my own coloring but after several attempts, I printed up pre-colored flowers. The sentiment is stamped.
This idea was a CASE of Ellen's card. Can you believe her gorgeous coloring?
Here is another card, single layer, with sequins and embossed lines:
and another one without sequins but with the embossed lines and a different sentiment:
(Oh, my goodness. It has been so long since my last blog post, I couldn't even rely on my "auto pilot" mode!! Wow. It doesn't take long to forget how to do things!)
Thanks for looking. It is good to be back.
