This is the second post today. And, yes, another guy card.
I love this precolored digital by Doodle Pantry. Laurie is coming out with more and more colored digis and I love them! I really enjoy making cards but sometimes, I just want to make some quickly, not take the time to color. And since I don't have copics, these pre-colored digis are WONDERFUL.
Had to use my tire tread embossing folder - so great for vehicles. I was going to use the screw brads but decided just to use the gray ones. The card seemed busy enough without the large brads.
This card is going to OWH. Should be good for a birthday card or just a card touching base with dad.
Have a great weekend.

ReplyDeleteFabulous masculine card, love how you have painted the truck green to pick up the green in the backing paper. Thanks so much for joining in the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge. Tracy x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous male themed card. Love how the background papers match the pre-coloured image so beautifully. I am another who loves to colour but occasionally finds a pre-coloured image a time saver. Mind you I would prefer an automatic paper matching service, so I could colour to my hearts content and not spend hours looking for matching papers! Love that texture in the blue mat, and the string and banner tag finish it off perfectly.

Great man card - and so quick using the precolored images - (my fav too).
ReplyDeleteAwesome card. My hubs would love to receive this card. He really likes that embossing folder. May I Post a link to your card on my Manly Monday blog post? I share links to masculine cards with my readers. Many card makers find guy cards challenging. Your card would be a perfect addition to the cards I already have set for this Monday. Do let me know if that is OK with you. Thanks

Terrific male card and love your design, one must keep the embellishments to a minimum for the guys (at least mine):O). Wonderful crafting Marsha!
ReplyDeleteGreat masculine card. I really like the way your DPs complement the main image, the tread emboss in particular looks great.

ReplyDeleteStrange...I thought I had left a comment especially since I was so attracted to the old truck. I'm so glad I now have a choice of some pre-colored images. I just love old cars and trucks...they are classic...just like your sentiment said for the recipient.
