One of the first digital companies that I became familiar with was Designed2Delight. I wasn't sure I would like using digitals but now I love them. This cute image is by D2D and I added the sentiment. D2D is having a CASE challenge. This is my card, a simple cas card.
I made the three flowers to look like the cone flowers in the digital image.
And this is the card I CASEd:
Challenges:
Designed2Delight
Pile It On - make own embellishments
Love to Create - anything
Stamp and Create - bold and bright
Mark's Finest - score lines
StampTV - tickled pink
Crafty Cardmakers - make own flowers
Incy Wincy - anything
Cute card. Great job. Thanks for joining Speedy Fox and Friends.

ReplyDeleteWhen you use digital images, do you print them with an inkjet printer? I have trouble with ink smearing so I haven't been too enthused about digital images. How do you do it? Thanks, Teena
ReplyDeleteTeena, I have two printers. One uses a Canon ink and the other an HP ink. But the trick to no smear is to use a wax based coloring medium like Prisma pencils or Kohinoor pencils then use mineral spirits to blend. That way there is no water to smear the ink. If you would like more info you can email me at mkdrain at gmail dot com.

this is sweet and perfect in its simplicity. Funny thing, most of my cards have several layers and embellies on them, yet when I looked at my favorites of other peoples cards most of them are clean and simple. I guess it's true that less is more, well at least for your card it is.
ReplyDeletethanks for playing with us at Pile It On.
