Tulips

The county next to ours is known for their tulips.  Fields and fields of tulips.  So gorgeous.  Maybe I will post a picture of some of the fields in a future blog.  But for now, a card with just a sample.  These are from Doodle Pantry.  I had so much fun making this small bouquet in the jar (also by Doodle Pantry) by using individual tulips and building on top of each other, changing size and angle, then transposing a jar over the stems to make it look like the tulips were inside .

Background paper is by Heartfelt Creations. Hard to see in the photo (and I took 10 shots) but it is a wood grain with a hint of green in it.
Sentiment is made up of words from Gina K Design stamps.
I like how this card turned out so much that I am torn between saving this card for my mom or sending it onto Operation Write Home.  Okay, I'll send it.  I do have plenty of time to make one for my mom but the mother's day cards have to be to our OWH shippers by the end of this month. .

  7. Beautiful card Marsha! What a perfect bow you tied. I can't tie bows to save my soul. LOL! It goes so well with the spring colors. Just wish the weather would be spring-like here. They are predicting 6-10 inches of snow for Sunday. Yuck! Have a super weekend!
